Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder, dry roasted
  • A pinch of asafeotida
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind, seedless
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Boondi, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Add 1/4 cup of water and blend together all the ingredients except crushed ice, Boondi and remaining water.
  2. Strain the liquid.
  3. Add remaining water and crushed ice. Mix well.
  4. Garnish with boondi and lemon wedge.
  5. Serve cold.
