Description
A thick chutney made with green mangoes and grated coconut
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 of one raw mango
- 4 shallots
- 2 green chillies
- 3 Dry red chillies
- 2 sprigs of Curry leaves
- 1/2 cup Coconut, grated
- 1/2 inch piece of Ginger
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Roughly peel (leave and let bits of the skin be) and chop half of one green mango.
- Coarsely grind the mango pieces, green chilies, dry red chilies, ginger, and shallots.
- Add grated coconut and curry leaves and coarsely grind again.
- Add salt to taste.
- Serve with rice.
Notes
You can add a tsp of coconut oil and a few tablespoons of water to get a slightly loose consistency.
