Heat a pan and add butter. When it melts, add the cubed apples, sugar and water. Mix well.
Add cinnamon powder and mix again.
Stew the apples for about 10-15 mins or till done.
Add lemon juice and mix well. Keep aside.
Add and ix custard powder in 3 tbsp milk. Add this to remaining milk and cook for about ten minutes or until it thickens. Pour the custard into a pudding dish and refrigerate for 15 mins.
Top it with stewed apples and refrigerate again.
Serve chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon and castor sugar.
