Yam Stir Fry | Chena Mezhukkupuratti

Ingredients

  • 300gms Yam
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 2-3 Dry Red chilies
  • 2-3 sprigs of Curry Leaves
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin of yam and chop into small cubes. Wash.
  2. In a bowl, add chopped yam, salt and turmeric powder. Boil and cook for about 7-8 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add dry red chilies and curry leaves.
  4. Add drained cooked yam and saute. Cook until well-browned.
