Keto Cottage Cheese Tofu Steak with Spiced Cauliflower Rice

Keto Paneer Steak

Keto Paneer Steak is a healthy, low-carb dish that can be served as an appetizer or as main-course alongside Spiced Cauliflower rice.


  • 2 Paneer slices, cut into squares that are 1" thick


  • 1/2 tsp Ground pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala or vegetable masala powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Hung Curd
  • Butter, to grill
  • Spiced Cauliflower Rice, to serve alongside


  1. Cut the Paneer piece horizontally, about one-inch thick. I used a cookie-cutter to get a uniform wavy shape.
  2. Next, we will be marinating the "steak". For this, sprinkle some ground pepper, chili flakes, red chili powder, and garam masala powder (or vegetable masala powder). To this, ginger-garlic paste and a tablespoon of hung curd. Marinate gently without crumbling the paneer pieces.
  3. Heat a grill pan and a dollop of butter. Place the paneer steaks and top it with the extra marinade, if any. We do not want to waste all that goodness. Grill both the sides for about three minutes or so until we get a nice golden crust.
  4. To plate the dish, place a cookie-cutter on a plate. Place a paneer steak in it, top it with spiced cauliflower rice and press it down. Place the last paneer steak and pull out the cutter.
