Soft, moist chocolate cake with indulgent Nutella, that is made in a microwave.
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons castor sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons milk
1 large egg yolk
2 tablespoons Nutella
In a large mug, add flour, cocoa powder, castor sugar, and baking powder. Mix well.
Add vegetable oil, egg yolk, and milk. Stir to combine.
Add Nutella and mix well again.
Microwave the mug cake for approximately 70 seconds.
Top it with powdered sugar/Hersheys Chocolate Syrup/icecream.
The microwave settings differ unlike baking in a convection oven or convection mode. So, stick to the timing as mentioned in a mug cake recipe. And if the cake is undone, continue to bake for short intervals until you get a clean toothpick when inserted in the center.
For the eggless version, remove the egg yolk. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil instead of 2 teaspoons, and 1/4 cup milk instead of 3 tablespoons.
