Cooking has never been my forte…well, until recently. After being married to my soldier, life turned out to be nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. There have been days when he would announce that he had invited few friends and family over for dinner. And being a novice or a new bride doesn’t count in the Army family. Thus began my trials and experiments and though I don’t claim to be Pro, things are in much better place now.
My husband was always head over heels in love with the Chicken dishes I prepared at home. He used to demand my Dad’s special Chicken curry on most Sundays. From sumptious biriyanis to momos to fried drumsticks, I have tried many.
I am participating in the #AtoZChallenge this year. i.e. I will be blogging through the month of April except on Sundays, each day dedicated to the alphabet of that day, i.e. On April 1st, you should blog on a topic starting with A, on 2nd it should be B and so on. I also have a theme in mind.
[tweetthis display_mode=”box”]Something’s Cooking is set for #AtoZChallenge wid 26 Chicken Dishes[/tweetthis]
My sole aim is to make my husband miss my food (and me of course) as he is away since nine months. Perks of being an Army Officer! You can expect Chicken recipes from varied cuisines.
All set for it?
I am also a minion this time, i.e. I’m helping one of the co-hosts of the #AtoZChallenge- Pam Brown Margolis who blogs @ An Unconventional Librarian.
Our theme is called “The Unconventional Alliance”
While I am the DJ of the team, playing music keeping your toes tapping, Rajlakshmi who blogs at The Twinkle Eyed Traveler, The Poetry Wagon, and Destiny’s Child will be the lead singer. Claire blogs at A Field Trip Life will be our dance teacher and Parul who blogs at Happiness and Food will be the life of the party. We will be visiting your blogs throughout the month of April. Keep those posts churning. Looking forward to having a rocking time!
It would be great if you send in your feedback on my posts in the form of comments, likes, follow ups and subscription via mail/FB/Google+/Twitter/Instagram . I don’t have any intention to spam you.
Meanwhile, you can also hop in to my personal blog to find out an interesting theme for the A to Z challenge. I’m sure you will love it.
Ciao!

You know what – I had registered a food blog 2 years back, but I am yet to find the time to get it up and running. But if it was up, and I would have participated in the AtoZ (so many ifs!) – this would be just the theme I picked – because like your hubby – I am in love with chicken too. So you can count on me being around in April. 🙂
