Mango Milkshake is a delicious, easy milkshake with mangoes. Here, I have flavored with cardamon powder. But you can always use saffron for variation.

Mango season in India is from April to June.

That is our summer time and we relish each drop of juicy mangoes. It is my favorite fruit and I eagerly wait for the mango season.

I also feel the mango season is very short. Two and a half months? That is short, right? After the first monsoon rain, the taste of mangoes change and I don't like them from then on.

    Mango Milkshakes has many benefits.

It is filling and recharges your body in no time.

Mangoes are juicy, sweet and rich and no wonder it is called the king of fruits.

Mango Milkshakes can be made with or without ice-cream. I have prepared here, mango milkshake without ice-cream.

And I have used the chilled non-fibrous variety of mangoes here.

During the mango season, I always have few inside the refrigerator and few at room temperature. Chilled mangoes are good for making milkshakes. If not, you can always add ice cubes while blending.

You can also make mango milkshakes with pulp or ready-made powder.

But when I have the luxury of fresh mangoes, I prepare this way. I also garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds while serving. You can use any nuts of your choice or serve it plain.

Want to make it richer? Add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream too.
