Cooking has never been my forte...well, until recently. Forget Indian dishes, I couldn't even perfect the art of preparing a perfect Chai. After being married to my soldier, life turned out to be nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. There have been days when he would announce that he had invited few friends and family over for dinner. And being a novice or a new bride doesn't count in the Army family. Thus began my trials and experiments and though I don't claim to be Pro, things are in much better place now. From sumptuous biriyanis to momos to fried drumsticks, I have tried many.

    Here's a sneakpeak to the much awaited #AtoZChallenge #ThemeReveal 2017. Be sure to drop into both my blogs as I'm resolved to take you for a ride to my la la land and offer you delicious dishes. See you tonight. . . . . . . #blogging #blogchatter #bloggingchallenge #travelblog #foodblog #foodbloggersofinstagram #travelstagram #travellers #island #phiphi #Thailand #amazingthailand #instadaily #igers

This year, I am giving a tribute to our vibrant and diverse Indian cuisine.

My theme for #AtoZChallenge 2017 is A to Z Indian Dishes to Die For

    A to Z Indian DishesTo Die For - A to Z Challenge 2017 - Theme Reveal

These are dishes I'd loved eating, getting recipes from many Army wives, adapted from skillful neighbors and tried in my kitchen.

This is my fourth consecutive year, participating in the #AtoZChallenge and I have enrolled this blog twice before. I am thrilled to experience the madness and chaos (not to forget fun) all over again. I am taking for granted that you know what the #AtoZChallenge is all about. If not, check my video here. Oh and I promise, it is not as grumpy as I look like!

I hope you'll join me on this journey of discovering a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines native to our beautiful country. These are, however, my top picks and you may not find your favorite dish under some letter of the alphabet. You can also find other Indian recipes here.

This sounds good. I like Indian food, but it's very difficult to get my wife to go to an Indian restaurant because in her past experience she's always had it too spicy which she doesn't like. I've told her that it's not all spicy, but not able to convince her to try more.

At least I can read your posts and dream about eating the food.

I have a love hate relationship with cooking although I do have a few posts that touch on cooking in my challenge too. I think I enjoy it most when I have the time to play and experiment with new dishes. I'm looking forward to your posts. I'm sure they will inspire me to give a few of them a try. Weekends In Maine
