Looking for an easy-to-make appetizer for Halloween? These Falafel Witch Fingers are your perfect bet!

Falafel Witch Fingers - Halloween Finger foods

I don’t think Halloween is popular in India. Not even once have I celebrated it or attended a Halloween themed party. Of course, I can’t even think about attending one because I go crazy at the slightest mention of anything spooky. Having said that, I have seen Annabelle, Insidious and Ring among many others and also read spooky books. But what follows is sleeping with the lights on and asking the husband to stand right outside the washroom while I do my business. Did I just say that? Argh!

Anyway, the first time I ever heard about Halloween wasย on one of the ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ episodes. This was followed by ‘Vampire Diaries’ and costume themed parties. Bats, spiders, witches, brooms, and pumpkins are what comes to my mind when I think of Halloween.

Halloween Recipes - Witch Fingers

Well, the husband is out-of-station and I decided to try out some Halloween themed finger foods and I came across many recipes on Pinterest. There were cocktails, cookies, deviled eggs among other party foods. Falafel Witch Fingers caught my attention because that looked creepy as hell!

How to make Falafel Witch Fingers

I have made Falafel before and the recipe was loved by many of you. I have used the same recipe here but shaped the patties into fingers. I had soaked almonds overnight and it was easy to peel during the time of assembling and garnishing.

| Find the recipe of FALAFEL here.

Once the finger-shapedย falafels were deep fried (you can also bake them), the soaked almonds were peeled, split in half and placed as nails, and hot sauce was smeared for the blood effect.
