So, after the sweet and chocolate Modaks, it’s time for a savory Modak. This Ammini kozhukkata can be made with left over dough. Aren’t they cute? P was gobbling them like a small kid 😉

See here how to prepare the dough.  Make marble size balls out of the dough and steam cook for 10-15 minutes. Keep aside.

For the seasoning:

Heat a tsp of oil in a pan.

Add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add red chili, green chili and curry leaves. Add the steamed balls, grated coconut, needed salt and mix well. Serve hot.
