Kerala Stew is a creamy curry made with aromatic spices and coconut milk. You can always make a vegetarian version by adding only vegetables, mainly, potatoes, carrots, beans, and onions. I will share the Kerala Vegetable Stew recipe soon.
I have made and shared my special Kerala Chicken Stew recipe with you before. It is one of the most loved recipes on the blog and is a personal favorite. I have mostly served Paalappam and Chicken Stew to most of my guests and they have always loved it.
Take a cue: try out the Palappam and Chicken Stew at the earliest.
Remember the Indonesian Chicken Curry, Egg curry in Coconut milk, or Chicken Stew from before? The base ingredient to these curries is coconut milk.

Kerala cooking is one of my favourites thanks to the coconut milk flavour 🙂 Vegetarian though so I am guessing the closest this would come to is mor kootaan , without the ginger garlic paste, of course.
Shalini says
Ignore the prawns and you can make this curry only with potatoes. That's my Mom's go to dish for breakfasts! 🙂
