It’s a special evening. After months, my husband is coming home and I wanted to cook something really exotic. I have never heard him complain about anything in life, especially food. But since a while, he has been constantly ‘hinting’ me that he is missing the food I prepare.
Whenever I ask him about his lunch or dinner plans, it’s always the same answer- Roti and Dal. My heart goes out for him then. And hence I decided to prepare something that reminds him of home.
Ha, the delicious, creamy coconut curry is scrumptious and the pleasant and mildly spicy stew is always a favorite.

Love the recipe. Will try it out.
Thanks and anytime 🙂
I hope we meet!
Kerala cooking is one of my favourites thanks to the coconut milk flavour 🙂 Vegetarian though so I am guessing the closest this would come to is mor kootaan , without the ginger garlic paste, of course.
Ignore the prawns and you can make this curry only with potatoes. That’s my Mom’s go to dish for breakfasts! 🙂
Looks yummy!
Thanks, Rachna 🙂
